The Las Vegas Lights professional basketball team is the first basketball franchise in Las Vegas, and is recognized as the premier franchise in the American Basketball Association (ABA). In addition to bringing the most fan-friendly professional sports experience to the Las Vegas Valley and the surrounding areas, the Las Vegas Lights will raise thousands of dollars for local charities and scholarship funds, provide employment opportunities and internships for young people and students, and donate thousands of dollars in tickets to youth groups and charities.

The Lights are gearing up for their inaugural season which begins on December 5, 2008. The games offer family-oriented, fan-friendly and affordable sports entertainment for all ages and incomes.
